Scarlett Johansson's a Redhead Now

Coppery red There's another celebrity redhead in the house--Scarlett Johansson! She was at the White House Correspondents' bash in D.C., along with her date, Sean Penn, and she was looking ravishing in red. She went for the old redhead standby of a green dress, too.

As you might know, red is the hardest color to keep looking vibrant when you dye your hair. Lucky for celebs like Scarlett, Drew, and Blake, all of whom dyed their hair red, they have the pro help to keep their hair bright.

Scarlett's also lucky that people weren't talking too much about her hair, which I think doesn't suit her much now that I've stared at more pictures. Scarlett's choice of date, Sean Penn, was stealing all the attention by being the crusty dude that he is. I heard random rumors that she was sitting on his lap during a break in the courses/entertainment, and I believe it. She's been known to enjoy sitting on his lap in the past, too. Why wasn't this a regular thing with Ryan, then?

But back to the hair, which I think washes Scarlett out. She did red hair as the Black Widow in Iron Man 2, and I felt the same way about it... sort of blah. Maybe it's the cut (dowdy), maybe it's the makeup (badly done), but Scarlett's hair isn't doing it for me.
