When I was kid I used to feel sorry for people with red hair because I always thought they looked so goofy. So If you're thinking about going red, we have some tips for you: Try to avoid going red if you have olive skin. Use shampoos for hair color. Red hair color oxidizes faster than any other. So, if you're going to spend a lot of time outdoors,
Now they're hot! Gone are the days of carrot top, hello Rihanna, Prince Harry and Christina Hendricks!
Women with cool or pinkish skin pull of red the best.
Condition, condition, condition, before going red. If your strands are very dry
or damaged, they will have a hard time holding on to small, red color molecules
(which seep out of even the healthiest hair fairly quickly). Have you seen those people whose dyed red hair is fading
in to orange? Eeek! Your mane has a better chance of becoming radiant red if is really healthy and conditioned.
Wash your hair as infrequently as possible.
Ideally this would mean twice a week. This is actually just a good tip for healthy hair in general.
Use dry shampoo if you need to. Constant washing strips the hair.
use a styling product that contains UV filters — or throw a hat or scarf over your strands.
