Adele's growing on me. The Rolling in the Deep and Someone Like You singer gave a fascinating interview to Out magazine, talking about newfound celebrity status and her ex. She's honeal, she's real, and she's not going to change... and she hates people who let fame get to their heads.

Adele's growing on me. The Rolling in the Deep and Someone Like You singer gave a fascinating interview to Out magazine, talking about newfound celebrity status and her ex. She's honeal, she's real, and she's not going to change... and she hates people who let fame get to their heads.

You can't help but like Adele after you read this interview, even if, for some reason, her music doesn't grab you. She has that side of her that hates her ex with a fiery passion, and then there's this other side of her that would drop anything for the perfect man to come back to her. A lot of us can relate, although I'm glad she didn't give up singing to stay with this mystery love:

"I don't think I'll ever forgive myself for not making my relationship with my ex on 21 work, because he's the love of my life," Adele told Out magazine (via Celebitchy).

"Well, I would still be singing in the shower, of course, but yeah - my career, my friendships, my hobbies. I would have given up trying to be the best. He made me really weak, but at the same time really f-cking fearless, so I managed to channel that. I don't know if I'll ever beat this album in terms of how people connect to it."

Then there's the soulful bit about her ex, the part that makes you love Adele for being so honest with her public. She's still in love with her ex, bitterly heartbroken, and she'll always compare her men to the standard he set. Okay, who is this guy?!

"He was my soul mate. We had everything - on every level we were totally right," Adele told the magazine.

"We'd finish each other's sentences, and he could just pick up how I was feeling by the look in my eye, down to a T, and we loved the same things, and hated the same things, and we were brave when the other was brave and weak when the other one was weak - almost like twins, you know-and I think that's rare when you find the full circle in one person."

If you are familiar with a song like Someone Like You, then you probably felt a little teary reading all that. That's okay, I did too. I'm pulling for Adele to find another great love, but she can't give up her career!
