Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is going to have a kid, and my guess is that she wanted to wait to make an announcement because she's officially a "geriatric pregnancy." Ugh. Talk about the ugliest two words put together on the face of this planet.

Carla didn't even confirm the news herself, but her father-in-law did, and that's enough for everyone. If the father of the president of France makes a comment about his daughter-in-law being pregnant, I'm sure you can take his word on it.

Pat Sarkozy is 82, okay? Give him a break. I know he spilled the beans, but he did it to the German magazine Bild. It's not like he was planning for it to go down that way. My guess is that he was trying to keep it a secret for so long that he just exploded to a random magazine.

"Neither wants to know the gender beforehand, but I'm certain it will be a girl, and beautiful like Carla," Pat told the press.

Nobody's confirming Pat's announcement, but the pregnancy rumors all started because Bruni was spotted looking rounder than usual. She said that she wants to have a child, so this is it! Carla's baby will definitely be adorable, although she has started to creep me out over the years. And what a spoiled, fashionable baby this will be.
