Rise Of The Ma-Scheen Back On the Screen

It's been a while since Charlie Screen acted on the big screen. Not that we don't want him there, but Two And A Half Men shows, the goddesses, and making crazy video rants have kept him a busy boy. Now that he's over those activities, and has more free time on his hands, he's finally taking on a movie role as..another Charlie.

Sheen, who played Charlie Harper on Two And A Half Men, has signed on to play the titular character in new indie movie A Glimpse Inside The Mind Of Charlie Swan III. Allegedly, Sheen's character will be a graphic designer, with lots of fame and money (typical for graphic designers?), who is struggling to come to terms with a break-up. Roman Coppola is set to write and direct the project, which will also star Jason Schwartzmann.

What's more, Sheen is also keeping himself plugged into television, as he plans a new TV sitcom spin-off based on 2003 Adam Sandler movie Anger Management. Oh, and not forgetting the little upcoming Comedy Central event, the Roast of Charlie Sheen.

The line-up for the highly-anticipated roast has recently gained a few more mud-slingers. In addition to previously announced guests  Steve-O, Jeff Ross, Mike Tyson and roast master Seth MacFarlane, Sheen will also be at the mercy of  William Shatner, Jon Lovitz, Patrice O'Neal and Amy Schumer, as well as Kate Walsh and guitarist Slash.

Taping of the show will actually take place tomorrow, but won't air until September 19. Still, how psyched are you to see all of these upcoming Ma-Sheen projects?
