Seems that whatever Charlie Sheen does, he likes to do in the public eye. And that includes waging his lawsuit against Warner Bros. Studio. But, unfortunately for the former Two and a Half Men actor, his desire to have a public trial was denied. A judge has ruled that his trial must take place in private, like his contract states.

It's a shame, really. Had Sheen's wishes for a public trial been granted, we would have had the opportunity to see him launching his torpedoes of truth against his former employers in court. Instead, an arbitrator will decide, in private, whether or not Sheen was unfairly fired from his role in Two and a Half Men.

When Sheen was sacked from the show, he filed a $100M breach of contract lawsuit against Warner Bros. Unfortunately, there was also a clause in his contract that would force a trial into arbitration. Sheen was hoping he could fight that, insisting that his trial should go to court. No dice.

Warner Bros. is thankful for the court's ruling and has released a statement saying, in part, "We're very gratified by the court's ruling enforcing the parties' arbitration agreement." But Sheen is still holding out hope for a change in plans. If the private arbitrator decides the case should go to court, it will.

Sheen must going through audience withdrawal and was hoping the world could watch him fight his legal battle. Sorry, Chuck, for now it seems like you're losing.
