Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly in Miami Celebrating 3,000th Hit

For New York Yankees Fans it would have been a dream to see Derek Jeter make his record-breaking 3,000th hit at home, but there's one person who's very pleased the fanfare happened in Florida. Jeter's girlfriend, Minka Kelly, has been filming the new Charlie's Angels TV show and was close on hand to celebrate millionaire-style with her honey after his hit.

New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter is clearly ignoring the classic baseball "no swimmin', no women" rule. Word has it that every free minute Jeter's had since Saturday when he became the first Yankee in history to have 3,000 hits, he's been hanging out at his $10,000 Tampa Bay mansion -- reportedly the biggest on the entire bay -- with girlfriend Minka Kelly.

Jeter and Kelly were also spotted looking laid back in Miami as part of the celebration, as Kelly has been snapped in the last two days out to lunch in workout clothes as she accompanied her casual-looking boyfriend. There was one expensive new piece of jewelry the 31-year-old Friday Night Lights actress was wearing, but it wasn't a diamond engagement ring: instead she's sporting the Cartier love bracelet, which RadarOnline.com reports is worth $9,000.

But while Jeter doesn't appear to be popping the question to his girlfriend of three years, he's still taking heat from fans who are upset that the 37-year-old is ditching Tuesday's MLB All-Star Game in Phoenix. While critics say Jeter should oblige the fans who voted him as one of this year's All-Stars by showing up to wave to the crowd even if he doesn't play, insiders claim he suffers "emotional and physical exhaustion" after training for his 3,000th hit in the wake of coming off the disabled list.

With all the Jeter controversy, it looks like Minka doesn't mind: clearly she's still a big fan.
