Following a cheating scandal that played out in the media, Kristen Stewart is speaking out about her life in Hollywood.

In the October issue of British Vogue (available Sept. 10), the Twilight star appears on her first magazine cover since her tryst with married director Rupert Sanders was revealed.

The actress, who will soon attend the Toronto Film Festival to promote the upcoming film On the Road, spoke candidly about her public persona.

"I know if you haven't thought about how you want to present a very packaged idea of yourself, it can seem like you lack ambition," the 22-year-old actress says of how she's often perceived.

"But, dude, honestly? I can't. People expect it to be easy because there you are, out there, doing the thing you want and making lots of money out of it."

Tuesday marks the Grammy Award winner's 31st birthday – and friends and family, including Gwyneth Paltrow; mom Tina Knowles; and her mother-in-law are sharing their warm wishes on the singer's website.

"God blessed me with one of the greatest gifts in my life on Sept. 4, 1981. Happy birthday," Beyoncé's mother writes.

Paltrow's message comes from her whole family: "For dear sweet BB on the occasion of her 31st birthday..." she writes. "We love you so very much. Love Gwyneth, Chris, Apple, Moses."

These are some new photos of Lady Gaga done by photographer Terry Richardson. I don’t know why that surprises people, that Gaga and Uncle Terry are tight – he’s photographed her for years, and he even acted as “tour photographer” for about a month during the first part of Gaga’s current tour, and from the looks of these photos, he’s back on tour with her. Reason why I believe these photos are current: Gaga’s little dog, Fozzi Bear. Anyway, in the photos you can see Gaga posing with Fozzi, sucking down oxygen in between stage set-ups for her show, giving Terry the finger, declaring that “Turbans are the new Jesus” and being very Gaga-ish in general.

Meanwhile, do you remember how Lady Gaga and Lindsay Lohan are BFFs after they had some kind of weird (coke-soaked?) party at the Chateau Marmont earlier this summer? Well, after Lindsay tweeted those photos of “her” jewelry over the weekend, Lady Gaga tweeted back, “@lindsaylohan ummmm are those my earrings??? this is awkward…:) kiss kiss chateau bunny.” Which is funny because A) Lindsay is a Crack Monster who steals everything that isn’t nailed down, so YES, those probably are Gaga’s earrings and B) Love the reference to the Chateau Marmont, because Lindsay got kicked out the Marmont for being too crackie to pay her bills. I checked Gaga’s Twitter last night – she had deleted the tweet! Hahahaha.

This is getting good, y’all. In the wake of the virtually certain break up of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the Twihards are eventually going to have to face the fact that both of their idols will end up dating other people. In particular, I suspect that the most ardent Sparkles fans will take great issue with his (inevitable) decision to not forgive KStew and his (hopefully stout) resolution to take his chances elsewhere. Where else, exactly? Quite possibly, the likes of Katy Perry.

I know, I know. It’s almost sacreligious to think of Katy hanging out (let alone doing anything else more illicit) with the very amusing and self-deprecating likes of Sparkles. But she’s a very clever girl; or at least, she’s very good at playing clever in front of very clever boys. Remember, she was married to Russell Brand not too long ago. So in the wake of Katy’s douche-breakup with John Mayer, Us Weekly maintains (via a Katy source) that “she needs a different kind of guy.” Also, Katy and Robert have already been friends for quite awhile, and Sparkles reportedly offered her quite a bit of support through daily text messages after Russell filed for divorce this past winter. So now Us Weekly has the scoop on a very recent dinner date between Katy and Sparkles, whom she considers a very “nice guy” as well as exactly what she needs right at this point in her life.

Tom Cruise has completed a real “Mission: Impossible” he doesn’t have to pay Katie Holmes any spousal support.

The Hollywood actor’s $250 million bank account is still mostly intact in the wake of his and Holmes’ divorce settlement, which was officially finalized by a judge on Wednesday, less than two months after she filed. All the actress wanted in the split was custody of their daughter Suri, and it seems that’s all she got. A source familiar with the details of the documents filed in court tells TMZ that Holmes, 33, will receive no spousal support from her ex, per their prenuptial agreement.

But Cruise, 50, will have to pay for the care of 6-year-old Suri, even though Holmes was granted sole custody, with him getting “meaningful” visitation, until she turns 18 in May 2024. According to the agreement, the “Rock of Ages” star will pay Holmes $400,000 a year in child support, which will cover her medical/dental care, insurance, education (including college), and extracurricular activities, and will be shelled out on a monthly basis via electronic transfer of $33,333. Over the next 12 years, Cruise will pay a total of $4.8 million for Suri. (The actor's attorney declined to comment to Reuters on the report, and a lawyer for Holmes did not respond.)

Miley Cyrus chopped off her hair Sunday night, documenting the cut in what started as a series of somewhat cryptic Tweets.

After posting a photo of stylist Chris McMillan about to cut off her very blonde bun, the singer wrote, “it’s happening,” followed by, “if you don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything at all. my hair is attached to my head no one else’s and it’s going bye bye.” Five hours later, the deed was done.

“Never felt more me in my whole life,” the bride-to-be wrote, after posting some shots of her sleek new pixie ‘do. “LOVE my hair. feel so happy, pretty, and free.”

During an interview with ABC several years ago, Cyrus seemingly foreshadowed Sunday night’s cut. “One day I’m going to cut my hair like [Twiggy], I know I am” she said, referencing a photo of the British model framed in her dressing room. “I will one day.”

"Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage," his rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Aniston, 43, and Theroux, 41, an actor-screenwriter, have been dating for more than a year.

The couple – who both starred in Wanderlust – were first spotted together in May 2011.

"They are great friends," a source told PEOPLE at the time.

During an interview on Good Morning America the next month, when asked about her personal life, Aniston couldn't hide her emotions.

"Yes, I'm very happy. I'm extremely lucky, and I'm extremely happy," she said.
