Swedish brand Aniv von Borche and Dutch ski wear brand Goldbergh had a fantastico event at the Sheraton Diane Majestic hotel during Milan Fashion Week. Planet Fashion TV and Hype Fashions coordinated the fashion shows for both designers. Before the show started there was the usual chaos of last minute changes, organizing the models line up, music and video. The make up and hair stylists perfected the girls look. A new brush on the market is called "hair free". This amazing brush is made of ceramic coated plates. The plates heat up with a blow dryer and act like a flat iron without the damage. I have to say I tried this brush myself and was surprised by the result and shine left on my hair. Backstage the energy was electric.
The changers helped the girls in and out of their outfits and the designers gave a last once over before the models showcased their clothing. Just a little background on Aniv von Borche, he is graduate of Istituto di Moda Burgo in Milan, Aniv has also studied at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and Central Saint Martins in London. He began his career in fashion at the age of 16, working for renowned fashion houses in New York before pursuing his studies in Europe. In 2009, Aniv was selected to showcase his designs for the Upcoming Designers of Milan. Since then, Aniv von Borche has shown in Stockholm Fashion Week and Copenhagen Fashion Week. This years show was just a combination of Scandinavian minimalist style with New York City edge and Italian high fashion. The collection included asymmetrical shapes on subtle black fabric with accents of black leather. Aniv von Borche is a collection for both men and women. Dutch duo Sandra Peet and Lieke van den Berg are the creators of Goldbergh. They launched the women's luxurious but sports fanatic ski wear in 2009. Their show opened with Beyonce's "Crazy in Love" and "All the Single Ladies" kept the vibe of the show upbeat. Fur accents around the hoods of the jackets paired with giant fluffy white or black goat fur boots gave the show the feeling as if you were in the mountains yourself. The knit hats featured a giant rabbit pom pom. The cozy Après ski collection also featured fur accents on a cream sweater poncho. And no fashion show in Italy is complete without popping a few bottles of Prosecco. Cincin!
