Move over, Gerber Baby! Alessandra Ambrósio’s daughter, Anja, takes the cake for cutest kid model on the block. The 4-year-old joins her supermodel mom as a new face of London Fog, starring in the brand’s winter 2012 campaign.

“I’m so proud of her,” Ambrósio tells PEOPLE exclusively about her daughter’s big gig. “As a mom, having my daughter steal the spotlight is pretty funny, and I just love it. It’s really cute.”

Anja of course models looks from the kids’ line, while Ambrósio poses in the brand’s outerwear, handbags, accessories and signature trench coats. “A good trench coat is always in style,” Ambrósio says. “It’s timeless.”

Ambrósio’s campaign debuts in December fashion and lifestyle magazines, as well as online, outdoor and in-store. She follows in the footsteps of Christina Hendricks, Gisele Bündchen, Eva Longoria and Nicole Scherzinger, all of whom have previously modeled for the brand.

But to Ambrósio, her campaign is the most special of all.

“These are timeless pictures that we’re going to have forever,” she shares of her mother-daughter photos. “We’re going to see them and remember that moment forever.”

Robyn Lawley has been known as one of the most successful plus-size models in the fashion industry, but now she breaking ground, going where no plus-size stunner has gone before: Ralph Lauren.

The size 12 model, who stands at a statuesque 6 feet 2 inches tall, initially worked as a regular sized model but felt the pressure to diet and change her body, and eventually hit her stride as a plus-size mode at 19. She was  on the cover of last year's Vogue Italia.

“I had to go through my own self-love, self-hate to get to where I am,” says 23 year old Lawley. “It took me years to watch other plus-size models be so confident with themselves. But then I realized that I could use my voice to be a positive role model for girls. When I found plus-size modeling, it was such a relief to be just me.”

Lawley’s modeling career began early at age 16 when she entered a competition. She finally signed with an agency three years later at the age of 19. Just four short years later Lawley is a Wilhelmina model, in the ranks of fashion’s biggest names and participating in shoots with the biggest brands and campaigns.

“It feels really good,” she said of her recent success. “I feel it’s been a really long time coming, but it feels like it was meant to happen now.”

Lawley says she was inspired by “strong, not-too-skinny” models of the '90s, like Linda Evangelista, and hopes she can be inspire others the same way. “I do try to respond to comments I receive on Facebook,” she said. “Some girls struggle with confidence, so it’s nice to be able to talk to them.”

This plus-sized beauty is trying to redefine what it means to be beautiful.  “I genuinely want companies to take notice and start being more realistic about who their customer really is,” Lawley said. “I hope to keep breaking down those barriers.” It will be interesting following her career.

Covering Colombiamoda, we knew that as at any fashion week, most of the action would be going on backstage. We had lots of questions: who were the top models? What was the work like? And what was everyone getting paid? In a year when organizations like the CFDA and the Model Alliance have attempted to improve backstage conditions, including by pushing for designers in New York to only hire models over the age of 16 for runway work, to provide healthful foods, and to bar backstage photography in areas where models change clothes, we were keen to take a look backstage for ourselves.

Most of the models at Colombiamoda were locals — the only foreigner we could find was Holland’s Next Top Model alum-slash-lingerie model Sylvia Geersen. But several Colombian models who work internationally came home for the shows, including the buzzed-about IMG new face (and recent Models.com MOTW) Catalina Llanes.

Daniela Quintero, who last year represented Colombia in the international Elite Model Look competition, said her week was going pretty well. “I like to see the new talent, and these very prestigious designers,” she added, before she had to head into hair and makeup for another show.

Miami Swimwear Fashion Week is becoming a week long festival for cool people. It's not as crowded as Art Basel in December but it is having the same kind of cache that Basel did 3 or 4 years ago before Basel became the over saturated mardi-gras that it is now. In other words Swim Week is hot! Even a few years ago swim week was mostly just Mercedes Benz Swimwear Fashion Week at the Raleigh Hotel and the 4 day long Swimwear show for buyers at the convention center. Now the entire South Beach is taken over by events. Every trendy hotel has a fashion show or event (W Hotel, SLS, Soho House). Funkshion, the Miami based fashion week has its own fashion week tents set up with emerging designers showcasing everyday.

Planet Fashion even has an annual event at the Ritz Carlton showcasing designers featuring Amour Luxury Swimwear from Colombia and Chio from Milan.

Here is a quick run down of highlights for the week:

Omega Watches showcasing luxury waterproof watches had had a fun event at SLS early in the week. Chris Bosh from the NBA championship Heat team made an appearance.

La Perla the Lingerie specialists had a fun cocktail party and swimwear presentation at Soho House.

Vanessa Simmons, Hip-Hop royalty, Russel Simmons niece debuted her bedazzled collection at the Raleigh which for whatever the reason took place at 11:30 at night.

Oakley had a fashion show and party at SLS that was probably the best party of the week. It was model overload. Nick Cannon DJ'd and was amazing. Lil' Jon passed through.

Mercedes Benz fashion week: The trend of one pieces, geometric shapes and in general suits that are more covered up continues. A lot of the collections seem to skew older, possibly because of the price point.

Gisele Bundchen has not appeared to quell pregnancy rumors by wearing in a belly-baring two-piece on a trip to the beach.

The supermodel was spotted in the revealing garment, playing with her son Benjamin and sporting a rounder belly.

Neither Bundchen nor her husband, Tom Brady, have officially confirmed the pregnancy but the model mom's beach outing appears to have done that for them.

When you're the "world's hottest swimsuit model" like Jessica Gomes, hanging out in a bikini is pretty much par for the course, wardrobe wise. Her bikini is our jeans.

So when the model headed south to make an appearance at Mercedes Benz Miami Beach Swim Week, she obviously took some time off and hit the beach, stripping down to nearly nothing to catch some rays.

Maxim readers voted Jessica, 27, the "world's hottest swimsuit model" back in 2011, and by the looks of things, she's still wearing that black bikini like a boss. The Australian beauty also channeled Miley Cyrus (with her flannel coverup) and Marc Jacobs (with her Chanel bag toted along to the shore).

In her Maxim interview, Gomes revealed that she wasn't always happy with her 36D breasts: "I'm very skinny on the bottom, but then I have these big boobs. When my body started changing I would go to castings and and call my agent, very upset, saying, 'My boobs are growing, and they're not fitting into the sample-size tops!' But I was very lucky that, as I was becoming a mature woman, other people were digging it, and I was able to be a swimsuit model."

Jess may have a hot bod that she often bares in the likes of Sports Illustrated, but she also models with her clothes on: she's appeared in Vogue, Teen Vogue, Glamour and GQ.

A: My Modeling Agency’s headquarters are located in Lancaster, PA but we have regional agents in NY and in the DC/VA area.

Q: HOW DO YOU OBTAIN MODELS?
A: We obtain models 80% by referrals through our company’s network and 20% via social media network like facebook and Model Mayhem.

Q: ARE THERE ANY REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR MODELS?
A: Yes there are. Firstly a positive, committed, and humble disposition is a must. Secondly they must fit into one of our divisions promotional/Print-commercial/Runway-High-fashion by meeting the stats and experience requirements. Thirdly, they must be marketable.

Q: WHAT FASHION TRENDS HAVE YOU SEEN ON THE RUNWAY LATELY?
A: I have seen a lot of Bohemian wild to classy chic styles with bold patterns and colors as well as very classy structured trends with a lot of accessorizing. Also gray is the new black with silver and gold accesories mixed to add some classy sparkle to the looks.

Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FASHION TREND THIS SPRING?
A: I would have to say the 70’s American Indian look! Free, wild, spirited look with the strapless flowing stops.. turquoise beaded and braided belts, moccasins or tie high sandals with the natural color vest!

Q: WHAT ARE SOME WAYS TO DRESS LIKE A MODEL?
A: basic dark fitted Capri's, fitted t-shirt heals and accessorize with bangles..perhaps a cute cap, or light scarf.

Q: WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY FASHION LOOK LIKE?
A: My daily fashion is inspired by a mix of Audrey Hepburn and Dolly Parton and a few modern must haves! This includes fitted capris with basic tshirt and perhaps a mid cover up that wraps in the front with high heals or wedges.. Also Audrey inspired dresses..classic black or summer sundress with flats and slip on wedges.

Q: WHAT IS YOUR NEXT BIG EVENT COMING UP?
A: Our next event is a New York black tie Gala sponsored by the National Hispanic Business Network to help raise money for students and small businesses. Our crew will be there capturing the festivities and our models will be greeting and hosting the guest from different corporate businesses
