Huxton’s first video was created by James Beattie over just two days, in a tiny studio with zero budget. Without the plethora of models, glamorous location and large budget normally at the disposal of larger fashion names, Huxton’s video stands alongside the fashion giants in a credible way. Beattie and Huxton prove that all it takes is a good idea and an element of creativity to make a fashion video that could easily blow the majority of other films out of the water.

Huxton was founded in 2011 by Joanna Lingham and Rebecca Pickard. Inspired by the idea of Clarissa Pinkola Estes that wolves and women are relational by nature, the wolf became the perfect symbol to represent our brand. Robyn Lawley has been known as one of the most successful plus-size models in the fashion industry, but now she breaking ground, going where no plus-size stunner has gone before: Ralph Lauren.

The size 12 model, who stands at a statuesque 6 feet 2 inches tall, initially worked as a regular sized model but felt the pressure to diet and change her body, and eventually hit her stride as a plus-size mode at 19. She was  on the cover of last year's Vogue Italia.

“I had to go through my own self-love, self-hate to get to where I am,” says 23 year old Lawley. “It took me years to watch other plus-size models be so confident with themselves. But then I realized that I could use my voice to be a positive role model for girls. When I found plus-size modeling, it was such a relief to be just me.”

Lawley’s modeling career began early at age 16 when she entered a competition. She finally signed with an agency three years later at the age of 19. Just four short years later Lawley is a Wilhelmina model, in the ranks of fashion’s biggest names and participating in shoots with the biggest brands and campaigns.

“It feels really good,” she said of her recent success. “I feel it’s been a really long time coming, but it feels like it was meant to happen now.”

Lawley says she was inspired by “strong, not-too-skinny” models of the '90s, like Linda Evangelista, and hopes she can be inspire others the same way. “I do try to respond to comments I receive on Facebook,” she said. “Some girls struggle with confidence, so it’s nice to be able to talk to them.”

This plus-sized beauty is trying to redefine what it means to be beautiful.  “I genuinely want companies to take notice and start being more realistic about who their customer really is,” Lawley said. “I hope to keep breaking down those barriers.” It will be interesting following her career.

I don’t know why that surprises people, that Gaga and Uncle Terry are tight – he’s photographed her for years, and he even acted as “tour photographer” for about a month during the first part of Gaga’s current tour, and from the looks of these photos, he’s back on tour with her. Reason why I believe these photos are current: Gaga’s little dog, Fozzi Bear. Anyway, in the photos you can see Gaga posing with Fozzi, sucking down oxygen in between stage set-ups for her show, giving Terry the finger, declaring that “Turbans are the new Jesus” and being very Gaga-ish in general.

Meanwhile, do you remember how Lady Gaga and Lindsay Lohan are BFFs after they had some kind of weird (coke-soaked?) party at the Chateau Marmont earlier this summer? Well, after Lindsay tweeted those photos of “her” jewelry over the weekend, Lady Gaga tweeted back, “@lindsaylohan ummmm are those my earrings??? this is awkward…:) kiss kiss chateau bunny.” Which is funny because A) Lindsay is a Crack Monster who steals everything that isn’t nailed down, so YES, those probably are Gaga’s earrings and B) Love the reference to the Chateau Marmont, because Lindsay got kicked out the Marmont for being too crackie to pay her bills. I checked Gaga’s Twitter last night – she had deleted the tweet! Hahahaha.

We've gotten used to seeing Alicia Keys in low-key "mom" clothes, often consisting of jeans, leather jackets, chunky glasses and sneakers (trendy Isabel Marant wedge sneakers, but still). But the singer proved she's still got that sexy edge with a teaser pic for her latest album, which she posted on Wednesday on her website.

For her fifth studio album, Keys chose the name "Girl on Fire" because "that’s exactly how I feel!!!" she wrote in a post today. "... I felt like it was time to stop making excuses for any part of my life that I wanted to change. Once I made that choice I became a Girl on Fire, the lion broke free!!"
