In regard to all things, especially business matters one needs to listen to their being. It is continuously giving you hints; it is a still, small voice. it does not shout at you, that is true, but if you are a little silent you will start feeling your way.
Be the person you are. Never try to be another. Listen to your intuition (your heart, gut, higher-self, call it what you will) everything else comes second. It means going into your immortality, going into your eternity, going into your godliness.
Listening to your intuition in all things is the sign of a mature person and all maturity is, is simply accepting the responsibility of being one's self, whatever the cost. Risking it all to be one's self...
Simply put; if the job (or venture of any kind) is joyful to do, it is the right thing to do. That doesn't mean it's not going to be hard work, but if your day speeds by and you feel good about yourself, than you have found your way.
All my life I loved make-up and looking pretty. I remember getting thrown out of Brownies for wearing bright red lip stick at ten years old and by simply pursuing what I enjoyed I fell into a long and productive career as a model and owner of several modeling schools.
Whatever you do, if you find joy in doing it, keep it up. Network and learn from others in your field, then put your own personal twist on it.
Daydreaming is also very important, enjoy a good day dream. See yourself "doing your thing" and doing it well. And if there is a part of your work that you just despise, get someone else to take that on and honor their gifts, pay them if need be. To this day I can't keep track of paperwork (maybe because my mother always kept track of it for me, now my son helps me).
So find your career by doing what comes easy to you and doesn't feel like work. A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, and he who does not journey never returns....
