Wow can you believe Lamar Odem is trying to do a reality show with one of the Kardashians in the middle of the NBA playoffs?? It’s so silly. Talk about a wife seriously not caring about her husband's career. So he's willing to cater to her so much that he puts himself in a completely unfocused position during the most important time of the year of his job, and she's selfish and fame whoring enough to even want that from him.
Celebration At Neue Galerie for 150 Anniversary Of Gustav Klimt
Written by Planet Fashion TV 24 May 2012This year marks the 150th anniversary of Gustav Klimt's birthday, and museums around the world are celebrating the Austrian Secessionist's work. You can even "Klimt Yourself" if you want to see what you'd look like in one of his paintings.
In a new exhibition at the Neue Galerie in New York, we see classic Klimt: opulent and erotic portrayals of women are on display in spades. His gold-flecked paintings mix history and mythology to create charged depictions of women that arguably paved the way for the "femme fatales" we know and love -- combining Byzantine flatness, aestheticized excess, Pre-Raphaelite romanticism, and a predilection for the surreal. The Galerie will show everything from the famous 1907 portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer to rare, never-before-scene photographs from Klimt's private life. The museum cafe will even be serving special Klimt cakes throughout the exhibition, (chocolate and hazelnut) in honor of the painter's sweet tooth.

I recently moved into a new apartment and I've found that as I've grown older my tastes have changed. The style and decor I would have once embraced in my college and grad school days is no longer relevant and the Pulp Fiction, Scar Face and Godfather posters coupled with my beloved picks of Jimi, Bob and Zeppelin no longer pass for art, especially in their unframed fun tact riddled state.
It is in fact time to grow up and it is time to hang the posters in the garage or do away with them altogether. From what I have gathered less is more and a few choice prints tastefully mounted and framed go along way.
I have always been a fan of tribal art, the art now found in authentic tribal tattoos and more specifically that of the Indians of the Northwest Coast, (the ones that make totem poles).
