Miami Based Emerging Designers Made A Splash During Swim Week

First Annual Miami Swim Lounge Pop-Up Shop

Miami, Florida- July 17th, 2011- South Florida based emerging swimwear lines, received a much deserved spotlight on their 2012 collections during world renowned “Swim Week,” held every year in sunny Miami.  The First Annual Miami Swim Lounge Pop-Up Shop event, created by Scene PR Miami, was sponsored by fashion giants Planet Fashion TV and The 19th Hole Magazine.

The event hosted a bevy of talented designers from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale. The Miami Swim Lounge was held at uber chic Miami hot spot Coco de Ville at the Gansevoort Hotel, on Saturday, July 16th, from 6PM-10PM.  The Miami Swim Lounge, was the only free event open to the public during Swim Week. Living in a city known for the sexiest beaches, usually means lounging in teeny tiny bikinis. True fashion mavens, must have a variety of hot swimwear pieces, and this one day event, allowed attendees to find more than one perfect suit. Fashionistas, also had the chance to meet “Brazilian Bombshell,” and star of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Miami, Adriana de Moura, as she launched her line of sunglasses, Adriana by Selima. Shoppers received amazing gift bags filled with beach essentials, make-up/skincare goodies from local cosmetic brand BEPLATINUM Cosmetics, and discounts from participating designers. Guests browsed the latest swimwear trends and were able to purchase sample sale items. Custom cocktails were provided by SX Liquors, all while grooving to beats provided by DJ Rob DI Nero.

The Miami Swim Lounge hosted fabulous designers for every body type and style. Attendees had a variety of styles to choose from custom couture pieces, chic and timeless designs and trendsetting creations. The Miami Swim Lounge was proud to showcase the following designers:

Along with the perfect bikini, attendees could match the perfect accessory! Emerging accessory designers also set-up shop. Shoes by Xiomara Lisette, hand-crafted hats by Maqui-USA, luxury beach bags by Candy Woolley and jewels by Sol Filippi were also available. Locals shopped sought after brands, while meeting designers personally and received their latest style tips for the season. Scene PR Miami, was thrilled to bring South Florida’s top talent together for one night of shopping!
