The Jean Paul Gaultier Spring Couture show was really beautiful. In fact it was our favorite. It was intelligent and optimistic. Thank God for optimism. It’s Spring! Maybe the cheeriness was due to the fact that this is somewhat of a new beginning. This was Gaultier’s first time on the runway since ending his ready to wear business last September. So he came out with a bang. Gaultier dubbed this Couture collection, “61 Ways To Say Yes”. And our answer to this was yes, yes, yes!
As always there was plenty of wit . The crowd was particularly engaged. They cheered during this show more so than any other at all of fashion week. Viva Gaultier!
