We’ve known for a while that Croatia is a hot coastal party town. Montenegro is becoming the luxury hot spot next door to Croatia. It’s in Southeastern Europe on the coast on the Adriatic Sea.It has a lovely historical European backdrop of churches, palaces and squares. It also has a diversity of culture having been conquered by the Venetians, Austrians, Russians and French. It’s scenic mountains and exotic ocean view are making it the new place for luxury resorts. Regent’s, One & Only, Four Seasons, Banyan Tree, and Kempinski are all in the mists of building.
At Lustica Bay, the Egyptian developer Orascom has begun work on a development of two marinas, seven hotels, a golf course and hundreds of villas, town houses and apartments. Montenegro has also expanded it’s mega yacht marina. Celebrities are flocking there also. Four days after winning Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic, the tennis star got married in beautiful Montenegro.
