Stockholm Fashion Week Highlights

Stockholm fashion week has been the cool home for emerging designers for a while. Scandinavians are known for their chic and minimalistic style—the “less is more” motto is often a go-to, both on and off the runway. Cozy and effortlessly looks, wet hair, oversized ruffles, bold suits and Commes Des Garcon references could all be seen at this summer’s Stockholm Fashion Week.

Here’s some of the shows we liked:

Whyred

Perhaps the show that impressed us the most was the Whyred fashion show. Exhibiting tailored lines and architectural design agains cream and baby blue colors. The look at the wired show was fresh, stylish and creative.

Amanda Gerell

Gerell took oversized ruffles and blousing to a new level. Here we see clear inspirations from Commes Des Garcon, yet still managing a modern take on it.
