Planet Fashion TV’s Art Loves Fashion Show at Art After Dark took place during Red Dot Miami Art Basel 2017. It was an evening full of red carpet arrivals, live music, painting demonstrations by renowned artists, champagne, hors d’ouevres and more.
Curated by Celia Evans founder of Planet Fashion TV, models showcased a fashion thru history exhibit featuring designer Michelle Gencev’s Minxsi Collection depicting twelve women in twelve eras of fashion. Models poised as mannequins strategically placed throughout the event, where the audience got a chance to be up close and personal with some iconic looks.

Venezuelan-born “Pop” Artist Fer Sucre used his Latin flair by demonstrating his pop expression painting on our sponsoring partner Tito’s Handmade Vodka bottles. His use of vibrant and upbeat colors, were so fresh and fun, that our guests could not pass up the opportunity to leave without one.

Warming up the crowd for our second act brought in emerging Miami based artist on the rise Antonio Rubalcava. Rubalcava brought his art to life painting himself within his canvas drew the Oo’s and Aa’s from the audience as they looked on in wonderment. Brandishing himself with a pair of fashionable Deko Eyewear to blend ever so seamlessly with his work of art, he truly exhibited the Art Loves Fashion theme of the night. Our big finale to close out the night was none other than the “chaotic balance” artist himself Eddy Bogaert, with his multi-dimensional, subliminal, and abstract style. Eddy showcased his skillset by painting live on a beautiful model heightened the sense to of our audience to peak of art-erotica.

As the art was being splashed and painted, the audience viewing the iconic fashion looks, poised by the graceful models, there was not an empty hand in sight. As the cocktails were flowing courtesy of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Whispering Angel Rose, and La Croix sparkling water. The hors d’ouevres were mouthwatering provided by Miami’s trendy Paco’s Way, Freddo, and Steak Brasil.
This star-studded event was filled with surprises around every corner. Entertainment that heightened your senses, fashion and art that pleased your eyes, this was no ordinary Art Basel event. Oh did we forget to mention Dj Lucca Savi spinning the hottest tracks throughout the night that led us into a one of kind musical performance from the band known as Celia Evans and The Critical Mass. Phones were out, snapchats were snapping, Instagram live feeds were overflowing once Celia hit the mic. And that is how Planet Fashion TV does Art Basel Miami.
