Balmain Fall Winter 21 show takes the runway beyond Earth. This is a great futuristic look and hopefull view of what we all want to do after the pandemic explore, travel in a plane or in a spaceship (in the near future) to the moon and beyond. The Digital show starts with Olivier standing on the moon looking at diferent screens at the first model wearing a olive green parachute dress takes her first step out of an Air France aircraft and on to the wing that becomes her runway on the runway.
The Collection is of course inspired in travel but also in the uniforms of soldiers (like we all have been surviving through the pandemic and the mess of 2020) Pierre Balmain, and his travels to America, London after World War 2, and the Sydney suburb of Balmain. The collection aim is to channel the sensation of freedom through travel as the future is starting to look better. The collection continues to unfold with big references of Pilot Uniforms like the traditional biker jackets, but not only pilot uniforms Olivier also takes us to space with a mix of metallic fabrics and looks that are out of this world. Check out some of our favorite looks and let us know which one you will like to travel with this fall.
