Erdem Moralioglu has focused his resort collection on a 1950s style icon, the late Duchess of Devonshire and former chatelain of Chatsworth. By way of introduction, her girlhood nickname “Debo”, which stuck to her for life, is emblazoned in pearls on a navy cashmere crewneck sweater.

This collection is a real nod to the classics; it’s Elegant, sophisticated and very feminine. With all this talk about “Old Money Style”, Erdem is serving it.

There are representations of the outdoor life of the lady of the estate. So we see signature trench coats, beige in the front, fan-pleated tweed in the back, and a sensible Prince of Wales checked walking suit with a kilted skirt.

There are floral prints and the A-line cuts in dresses, and skirts. This is a lady-like aesthetic. Other garments in the collection have skillfully been made by mixing different fabrics such as wool, tulle or chiffon with jewel embellishments.
