Known for keeping his work under wraps, Frank Ocean has recently announced that he has created his own American luxury company, named “Homer.” Although often recognized for his musical talents, Ocean has created designer sneakers, magazines, and interior design pieces in the past.

In his newest non-musical pursuit, “Homer” has been in the making for three and a half years. It is set to consist of 25 high and fine jewelry pieces, and silk scarves.

The singer said that he named the collection after Homer, the Greek author of the Iliad and the Odyssey. Ocean told Financial Times, “Homer is considered the father of history and history is meant to endure–the same as diamonds and gold–and I know Homer used papyrus, but I’ve always liked the idea of carving history into stone.” Pictured above are pendants to be featured in the brand’s first collection.

In his recently launched catalogue, Ocean also hints at the brand’s upcoming collaboration with Prada. A pale blue bag and mint green anorak are featured above.
The prices of the collection will range from from £284 to a whopping £1.4m.
