Lululemon is officially launching their first line of footwear, as previously announced in April
2019.
The Vancouver-based athleisure company, most known for its leggings and yoga pants, has
introduced a new women’s running shoe coined Blissfeel. The shoe marks Lululemon’s first step
into the footwear market. The brand will also be rolling out three additional sneakers this year,
including a cross-training shoe, a training shoe, and a “post-workout” shoe. The company has
also said they will be debuting a men’s footwear line next year.
Blissfeel, which launches March 22, will retail for $148 and come in 10 different colorways. It is
made with foam cushion technology and is designed to focus on the unmet needs of active
woman, per Lululemon.Your Content Goes Here

“We intentionally started with women because we saw an opportunity to solve for the fact that,
more often than not, performance shoes are designed for men and then adapted for women,”
Sun Choe, Lululemon’s chief product officer, said in a statement. “That didn’t sit well with us.”

“We saw a real opportunity to take our Science of Feel philosophy around feeling your best to
perform your best into the footwear category to support the customer head to toe,” Sun Choe
continued.
