The Emilio Pucci collection at Milan Fashion Week was the best!!
It was the most wearable, adorably chic ensembles of all the fashion weeks this September. Actually Milan Fashion Week was particularly inspired in general. The Moschino runway show was dope as hell. It was influenced by Barbie dolls and you have to see it, but it was amazing.
Anyway back to Pucci. I’ve been a huge fan since I went to an atelier showing in Milan back in college (quite a while ago), so I’ll always have some biased for Pucci. This collection though is the real deal. Imagine a gorgeous, wealthy, hippie-diva type from the Seventies. Think of Bianca Jagger, or Lauren Hutton (my faves) and transport them into 2014, to a sunny day in Malibu to have lunch with friends. Doesn’t that sound lovely. No seriously, I love that wealthy hippy look, and those Seventies throw back references. The colors used here were earth tones, rose, charcoal, and sunburst orange. Love!
Naomi Campbell walked the catwalk, as did the suddenly ever-present Kendall Jenner.
Check it out!
