New African American Owned Makeup Line To Try Now

Created by Tamela and Taja Renee Rowe, the line is 100% inspired by Tamela’s daughter, Taja Renee. 

This African American owned brand is for all races, ages and genders. It is also: 

Tamela Rowe first thought about doing a makeup line after beating a severe bout of depression with the help of her daughter. 

Tamela explains “I was going through a very dark period in my life. I was at an all-time low. Taja Renee would come into my bedroom every morning before she left for school with amazing make-up. She taught me how to re-love myself through makeup. She wanted to make me feel good about myself so she would give me makeovers. She would tell me she loved me and give me the best hugs. I would feel like a new person going to look in the mirror .” 

Like so many others, Tamela had lost her high paying corporate job. She was forced to reinvent her whole life. She bravely started a new company, this wonderful new makeup line. Her daughter had activated her interest with makeup and beauty adn she ran with it. She has applied her business skills to the development of this exciting new line. 

Beyond that, they feel they have a higher mission. They truly want to make others feel good about themselves, love themselves and love others. “We want the world to be a better place. We define beauty by seeing the good in each person and believe love conquers all.” Says Tamela.

Taja stands for crown and Renee stands for born again.
