Spring 2015

As a starting point for her Spring 2015 collection, Reem Acra viewed the work of mid-20th century Paris couturiers, along with fashion photography of that era, and transformed those elements into a glamorous, yet thoroughly fresh vision for the modern woman.

Classic hand draped jersey has been given a new twist with cut out detailing and body conscious silhouettes. There were floral prints, which seem to be a common theme during this fashion week.

Embroidery, a signature element in every Reem Acra collection, is used this season in a new light reflecting way. Hand appliqued crystals, beading, and lace are used to enhance this delicacy and bring a new freshness to the collection. The amazing Pat McGrath was key on makeup.

The Reem Acra has truly brought traditions into the 21st century with this collection.
