A new accessories brand is hoping to innovate streetwear totes.

Hyphenate was founded by JooHyung Yi, a Californian designer who is also Korean-American. Yi was a former Data Analyst at Lyft who wanted to create an apparel and accessory brand that could his proud multicultural history. The original idea was to build an apparel brand that celebrates travel, multiculturalism and street fashion all in one. Yi’s first tote is a design called “Street-Slang”.
