The P.C. Hoofstraat, that is Amsterdam’s version of Fifth Avenue in NYC, was “the” party for Vogue Fashion Night Out. All of the luxury boutiques hosted their own cocktail lounges serving Prosecco and entertaining fashionista with DJ’s or live music. Hermes had a virtual bike video you could make sitting on a stationary bicycle wearing one of their gorgeous silk scarves
draped over your shoulder. Gucci offered its clients a very special service.

They had two of their corporate employees flown in from Gucci headquarters in Florence, Italy to gold emboss your handbag or wallet with your initials. I have to admit I was one of the first in line for this personalized detail. Sandra Peet who owns Goldbergh, that sexy ski clothing brand, had a catwalk set up outside Cosmic Cowboy’s and gave the first few attendees a limited edition Goldberg black T shirt with her logo in gold.

On the back, it read: Vogue Fashion Night Out 4 Sept 2014 Amsterdam. Vogue Magazine partnered with T shirt queen Zoe Karssen for a limited edition white sweatshirt with a black bat that read Vogue Nederland for clients who bought a year subscription to the fashion bible. A navy blue limited edition T shirt was also available for sale at the Vogue shop by Zoe Karssen. Her design was even printed on the bottle of Heineken beer. Vogue Fashion Night Out is an international event hosted in eighteen different cities worldwide. What better way to enjoy a night out with fashion, music and cocktails.
