Chanel is taking its 2022 Cruise collection to Dubai after unveiling it in South of France last May.

Come November 2, the luxury brand will host an in-person event to show the their 2022 Cruise collection that we already know and love. In May 2021, this collection was first unveiled at the Carrières de Lumières in Les Baux-de-Provence in southern France.

Although repeat shows are not knew to the fashion world, and especially not new to Chanel, this certainly marks the official return of them post-pandemic outbreak. Chanel had planned for a repeat show in Beijing in May 2020, but had to cancel due to uncertainty over the pandemic. Now, they feel it is finally time to bring back the repeat destination shows for their Cruise collection.

Keeping true to the “cruise” idea, Chanel has ran with the opportunity to showcase a new location each year. Having already unveiled collections in Venice, Seoul, Havana, and plenty more, Dubai is just another on the long list. It is their first return to the UAE in 7 years, having last shown their cruise collection in 2015.

The brand has not specified a location for the November event.
