Opening night marked the launch of Mexico-based luxury swimwear line Diosa Mar. Founded by heiress Tatiana Rodriguez Anderson, the collection debuted at Planet Fashion’s production of Miami Swim Week at the Surfcomber Hotel on Ocean Drive Night. The show displayed naturalistic swimsuits inspired by the native animals of Mexico, including snake print to represent Buddha’s protector, Mucalinda, and Tatiana’s spirit animal: the jaguar.

This collection in particular, the Damara Collection, was named after the Celtic Goddess of Imagination. Damara held close ties to nature, making the name a perfect fit for the jungle-inspired collection. Anderson aimed to embody the incomparable beauty of Mexican nature, and by the looks of awe sported by attendees, she undoubtedly succeeded.
