The French luxury fashion house, Maison Margiela, has unveiled their fifth U.S. boutique in the heart of Miami’s Design District. Other U.S. locations include Los Angeles, San Francisco, and two in New York.

Located at 142 Northeast 41st Street, the boutique spans two floors and offers selections from the brand’s menswear, womenswear, accessories, fragrances, and shoes.

The store, designed by architect Anne Holtrop, involves everything that is abstract and conceptual. “Artisanal furnishings reflect and alter ideas of familiarity. Shapes skew in form, as they lean and fold around the demarcation of the space, drawing on ideas of dressing in haste native to Maison Margiela’s vocabulary,” according to a statement from the Parisian house.

This theme is present not only in the shape of the furniture and the store displays, but in Maison Margiela’s clothing as well. The familiar optical white of the store is everpresent in the limited-edition Tabi Bianchetto and Replica Bianchetto shoes that mark the store’s grand opening.

Considering it is only one of five U.S. locations the brand has, it is definitely a spot to stop by if you are near Miami’s Design Distrct!
