Our lovely fashionista, on camera talent and artist, Hilary Hoang, has some words of encouragement for everyone in the midsts of this strange time:

She Looked Out While Looking In………..

New York is the city that never sleeps and right now that could not be more true.

This is the place where true hustle and spirit has us living out loud no matter what time of day it is.

But now we are lying awake at night trying to quiet the noise that is running through our minds.

In place of sirens, honking cabs and yelling pedestrians, it is now our own thoughts we find the loudest.

Now more than ever, mind over matter is not only a necessary practice to help us get through the day, but it can prepare us for what lies ahead as well.  No matter who you are or where you live, your life has slowed down from its usual pace. So there has never been a better time to raise your mental will to better your health and encourage a more solid state of mind.

The world and every single one of us has been forever changed, it is up to each of us to decide how we live during and after this, as well as what lessons we take with us and which get left behind.  The world is hurting and the healing process will be long, and while there are plenty of negative things that came from this and are yet to come, out of respect for those whose lives have been lost we must continue to accept the positive things we have been taught and continue to learn from them long after this is over.

It is in the darkest times that we are able to see truth and feel strength when we thought we had none left.

One day we will once again be able to embrace our favorite people but until then air hugs are just as good to remind us what is important.

I leave you with a photo narrative I created years ago to help me cope with a terrifying experience here in the city.

Be well and remember of all the things we will lose, you must keep your sense of humor ~
