HBO is teaming up with the Carter family yet again!
In what is now the fourth collaboration between either Beyoncé or Jay Z and the network, HBO has landed a deal to air the “On The Run” summer tour.
Filming of the concert will take place during the couple’s two Paris tour dates, September 12 and 13, at the city’s Stade de France.
“This is a major musical event that belongs on HBO…It’s going to be a night to remember,” Michael Lombardo, president of HBO programming, said of the partnership.
Beyoncé and Jay Z began the tour June 26 in Miami and made their first of only two Canadian tour stops in Toronto last night at the Rogers Centre. “On The Run” makes its second Canadian stop in Winnipeg on July 27.
The cable network previously collaborated with Beyoncé on the feature documentary Life Is But A Dream and more recently on a 10 episode series of 4-minute clips titled, Beyoncé: X10. Jay Z’s Picasso Baby also aired on the premium network in August 2013.
